The golden hour also made the Malaysiakini building @KINI logo magically reflect the sun rays with a fiery orange glow—as if it’s mirroring the company’s driven team fulfilling their mission to bring about positive changes in the country with much passion and spirit!
Almost every evening, whether I worked late into the night or right before I left the office, I’ve always waited, every chance I got, to experience this beautiful view of the sunset. Among the many, these were the most beautiful ones I got the opportunity to capture on my mobile phone camera in my area at Petaling Jaya (PJ), Malaysia.
In the late evenings, the view between the silhouette buildings where the sun shined through complemented by those amazing clouds and blue sky, is a sight of nature’s beautiful artwork. Though I only had my Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphone camera (nothing too fancy) to capture this magic hour, it came out pretty well.

And when I don’t drive to work, heading back home from the Malaysiakini office on my bike allows me to stop and experience more beautiful sunset moments on my way. The feeling you get when you’re just about to ride your bike into the sunset through a bridge is just beyond words…

I was also privileged to witness another beautiful sunset with those rare cloud formations in a city appropriately called Sunway in PJ.
While the original image was already beautiful, I couldn’t help but imagine what the horizons in the twilight hours would look like as the sun went down from a lake view. So I added a lake reflection effect underneath. Yeah, the lake reflection at the bottom is fake, but the top shot was how it looked. I never saw anything like it ever again since this one. It was a one-time one-off thing for me.

And finally, as the sun retires for the day, I head to Subang Jaya Lake view (a real lake view this time) to experience a moment of silence and serenity while I admire nature’s wonder going to sleep.
If you have published a beautiful sunset moment on your blog or somewhere, share a link or your experience with me. I sure would love to have a look or read about it. Thank you and…

Good night…
Beautiful!
